How to build a cold email list that does not get you blocked
A cold email campaign is decided by the list before anything is sent. NEVDEV in Phuket explains how to define who you sell to, where to source the contacts, and why verifying every address matters more than volume.

A cold email list is not a spreadsheet of everyone you could sell to. It is a short list of the people most likely to reply, with addresses you have checked. A bad list gets you blocked before the copy gets a chance. NEVDEV builds lists for its outbound clients this way.
Write the definition before you open a tool
One paragraph, written down: what kind of business, how big, where, what problem they have that you solve, and the job title of the person who feels it. If you cannot write that paragraph, you are not ready to build a list.
For a Phuket villa management company that might be: "Villa owners in Phuket with two or more properties, listed on Airbnb, no management company, who handle bookings themselves."
Smaller is better
A list of three hundred people who match the definition will beat a list of three thousand who might. Inbox providers watch bounce rates, spam complaints and how many people ignore you. A big loose list drives all three the wrong way, and once a sending domain has a bad reputation it takes weeks to recover.
Where the contacts come from
The best lists come from more than one source. Public business directories, the platforms your customers list on, LinkedIn, and the business's own website all give pieces. The work is cross-checking them, because each source is partly out of date.
Verify every address
Every email address goes through verification before it is sent to. Anything that bounces, is a catch-all with no real inbox behind it, or is a role address such as info@ is treated with care or dropped. A bounce rate above two or three percent tells providers you are guessing.
Keep it clean afterwards
The list is not finished when the campaign starts. Replies, bounces and unsubscribes come out. People who asked not to be contacted stay out permanently. A list that is maintained gets better every month. One that is not gets you blocked by the third.
If you can describe who you sell to in one paragraph, you can build a list that works. If you cannot, the list is not the problem to solve first.
